Pumpkin Carving

Erin Low put together a F.H.E for pumpkin carving and it was a huge success. Kali decided pulling out all the seeds was mom's job. She wouldn't even put her hands in it. A seed accidentally landed on her arm and she was like "eeww." When it came time to carve the pumpkin, she was all over it. She did an excellent job, don't you think!! It is the best pumpkin face I have ever seen.

Halloween Party for the Parents!

Noelle put on an amazing Halloween party at the game room, playing, ping pong, guitar hero, bowling and dance dance revolution (Leah and I are pretty much pro's now.) Watch out Shayne we tear it up:)

Kick Ball Tournament

We took second place at the tournament. It was a full day of games, four to be exact. We had a big barbecue between games which was yummy! It was a fun day complete with sunburned faces, food, fights, scraped up knees and bonding. The kids had fun as well and they were excellent sports as they watched the game, cheered us on, ate all the cookies, climbed trees and ran around the field. They all slept really well that night!

Halloween Party

Kali is sitting so still as Auntie Mary paints her nose for the finishing touch of her Minnie mouse costume. She was so excited to get to finally wear it. At the Halloween party, Kali experienced her first donut ever and she scarfed it down. They were supposed to be trying to bite it off the string without hands but she decided it was to good and that would take too long so she just pulled it right off. She also got to take some swings and the ghost pinata. She has gotten the hang of swinging hard at the pinata's she does a good job. She also got to color a picture and decorate a cupcake.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch with the Stimmels, the Boyds and Erin Low. Kali and Ella are enjoying a wagon ride from the cars to the pumpkin patch. Kali, Ella and Eli found a big pile of pumpkins. We got to go on a hay ride and pick out a pumpkin. While we were waiting in line for the hayride Kali was just hanging around!!!:) She is funny, she loves to hang on bars and pull her self up and then when she was done she actually reached for me with one hand while she was still holding on with the other hand. So strong! I am pretty sure her favorite part of the day was getting to ride the horse. She loved it and I am so glad that she did it. I had tried awhile ago to have her go on a horse ride but right as I was putting her on the horse she got scared. Not this time, she loved it. She is like her mommy, I always loved horses growing up and she is really into them right now.

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!

Here is a precious picture of Kali holding Wade and Charlene Hills baby boy Brenden. She is practicing for when her little brother comes on March 21, 2008. We are SOOOOOOOO excited for this new addition to our family. Aaron was practically doing back flips in the ultra sound room. Now we have to make half of Kali's room masculine and add some blue colors and sports pictures to the pink princess room.

Family Night Out

So the men were able to make it this weekend on a night out and it was so much fun having them with us. Kali loved it!! She just adores her daddy and always is so concerned about him and what he is doing. We had an amazing dinner at Macaroni Grill, everything was delicious! Even Kali's macaroni and cheese was amazing!! This picture of us at the restaurant makes me laugh so hard, because right as we were leaving I decided we needed to get a picture and our waitress was so busy so Aaron decided to take it and see what we could get. I love how Kali is totally looking and smiling for the picture, I don't usually get the combination together, and how Derek is totally cut out of the picture. Sorry Derek. If you look really hard you can see a slice of his face on the right edge. LOL! I do have to wonder if Aaron did that on purpose? JK:) Kali loves going up and down the escalators at the mall. Hillary and Derek decided to help her down and they all looked so cute. In the other picture Kali is being miss independent and walking the mall by herself. She is already a little shopper, when we go to stores she will look through the clothes and even look at the tags and then hand them to me and I will ask her if this is what she wants and she will nod her head and say, "yes"! It is so cute. Notice the Dora slippers she is wearing, this is an item she picked out her self and decided she needed. I don't know, but I think she is pretty stylish.

Turtle

Kali and I are hanging out at temple beach and all of a sudden this little turtle makes its way up onto the sand and then heads straight for us. If I hadn't moved I think he would have tried to run us over!! Kali loved it. She first wanted to feed him oreo's, but I informed her that turtles didn't like oreo's. She then decided she wanted to talk to the turtle and tell him to watch her and she ran up to the top of the sand bank and then proceeded to run down as fast as she could almost falling on her face every time as she reached the bottom because her little feet couldn't go as fast as her momentum. It was so entertaining, and she thought it was funny as well so she did it several times, but each time before she was going to run, she had to tell the turtle to watch her. Never a dull moment in the life of a mother!!

Girls Night Out

The men were busy so Hillary Williams, Kali and I decided to hit the mall and then fill our bellies with P.F. Chang's. Kali loved the big horse out front. She had to get a picture with it. After a delicious dinner Kali decided to go wild on the car. She was dancing and sliding all over it. Hillary and I could not stop laughing. It was so hilarious. Fun night out with the girls!!

OUR LITTLE PRINCESS

Kali Lyn Jones is turning 20 months on the 18th of Oct. She is getting to be such a big girl who knows exactly what she wants. I love these pictures with her shoes on because she is really into socks and shoes right now. That is what she sees daddy putting on all the time and so she wants to wear them too. She also loves to wear a "bow" in her hair. She has several different headbands with a flower but she calls it a bow. She is always sporting some sort of bandage, either Barbie or princess and she is starting to get interested in potty training since all of her older friends are doing that right now. So I got her some underwear that she always wears over her diaper and I told her she won't need her diaper any more as soon as she can always let me know when she needs to go shee shee or poo poo. Shee shee means pee pee in Hawaiian. Kali is talking so well. She loves to talk on the phone to all our friends and family. Sometimes she will just walk around the house talking on the phone even though no one is on the other end. Kali's favorite color is Blue just like her Grandpa Wood. Anytime I ask her what color something is she will always says, BLUE! Kali was funny when we were taking these pictures she said she had to stand by a palm tree. Then when I said, "say cheese" she would say "cheese, cheese, cheese" as she was looking around, but she would never look at me. Except of course her model pose when she was done saying cheese she would just look at me with out smiling. It made me laugh!
