Mr. Incredible
I am so grateful for my amazing husband. If it wasn't for him, I would be checking myself into a mental institution right now! He has been my savior. I feel bad because lately I have had little or no patience, I don't know why. (maybe lack of sleep?), but Aaron picks up all my slack, he is extremely patient with Kali and makes me feel like I am a terrible mother for not being more patient and he has told me a million times all he expects from me is that when he comes home that I and the children are alive and safe. I am glad that is all he expects because that is about all I am accomplishing! You know things are getting bad when Aaron comes home and just covers his eyes and runs through the house so he doesn't have to witness what looks like a bomb has gone off. So why I am accomplishing keeping me and the kids alive and safe Aaron is going to school full time, working 50 hrs. a week, works out, when he is home he, watches Kali or Krew or both, does laundry, dishes, picks up around the house, tries to find time for homework and any other thing I might ask him to do. And he is happy and patient while doing it all!!!! AMAZING! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful man as my husband, he makes me feel so loved and he tells me all the time how great of a mother and wife I am. Thank you so much Aaron for being the man that you are!! I LOVE YOU! :)

How awesome! He does sound like Mr. Incredible. I hope you are starting to feel better...and hopefully getting some sleep soon. :)

It will get better, gradually before you even know it. Im so glad your hubby can help out. Times like these we wish we lived closer to mom, huh! I will be thinking about you. Mijken
I know its crazy that we put ourselves through this...but it is for a great cause. I just tell everyone if they can make it past the first 3-6 weeks (of hell) it does get better, but establishing a routine seems to take that long. I could not believe it, even with a 5 yr old it was hard. I have to say it looks like little man is growing, he has changed so much since he was born (cute little double chin)
Well you have to realize too, you had a c-section. It just takes time to heal! I remember having a friend come over one day just to do laundry and sit and visit. It was a god-send! I know you've said you have great friends and neighbors, so that's good. I'm glad your husband is so supportive. I'm sure before you know it you'll be back at it. Plus, you probably live in a smaller space, and having a baby means tons of extra crap floating around! It'a amazing all the little stuff you need for a baby that you forget about.
That is the cutest thing I have ever read..you two are so cute.
So, thanks to Hilary I found your blog.
How is life? Congrats on the handsome little Krew...your family is so beautiful!!!
I hope everything is great out there in Hawaii...Ryan and I miss it so much.
hope to here from ya

Awh, that was sweet.
What a good guy, don't forget you are an amazing mama too. It's a lot to think of all you've gone through in the last few weeks, hang in there and thanks goodness for wonderful amazing husbands!
that is such a great picture! what a sweet husband. i hope he read it! and he totally could be the mr. incredible in the movie.
you are amazing for noticing the amazing things your husband is doing. the fact that you appreciate him, thank him and show him you care is very impressive! i know that you must be exhausted right now...it will get better and then you will have lots more patience! you're awesome shanae!
That was a very nice post. How nice to have such a great husband. It's so hard to be a "mom" at times. It seems like you can never get caught up and when you do it's time to start again. And not getting a lot of sleep doesn't help. It's nice to have a patient husband when momma isn't. Anways, hang in there. Krew is getting so big. Love the double chin.
I'm so glad Aaron is helping out. It really makes a huge difference when you have another set of hands. My family has caught whats been going around TVA but once we're better we'd love to have Kali over. Please let me know if there's anything I can do. I know exactly what you're going through. You're in our prayers!
That is a precious piecture! How great that you have such a supportive husband! The only bad thing about having such a super-husband, is they always make you look bad, no matter what!! HA! I feel like I can never be as great a person as Chris.
Oh, your family is so cute!
PS I just realized that Kali and Krew (their names) sound PERFECT together. Good job mama!!
Hey, I just have to say that I am in survival mode too! It's amazing how much more work EVERYTHING is with a two year old and a new baby! Oh the stories we'll have to tell! But here's to a little empathy girl!
One of my friends (who has two twin boys and a girl, all under 5)said that a messy house, TV dinners, and dirty faces are a good price for children who know you love them and are happy. That's what I say to myself when Csae comes home to something a little less than ideal. At least Addi (and now Gwen) are happy to see him.
What a cute picture. Husbands really help make us stay sane right? I agree with Erin he really could play a real life Mr. Incredible!!!! :)
3 things:
1-What a fabulous photo! You should start your own lil workshop of photography ;) 2-This is a perfect display of love and appreciation! Go Aaron! Mr. Incredible/HULK for sure! He is amazing to multi task so much! and 3-This has got to be the most comments on a blog! YAY Aaron, we all agree! KEEP UP THE FABULOUS WORK! There sure is beauty all around when there's love at home.... dont worry about a lil mess! :D Love you all! Krew is gettin big quickly! SUCH A QT!
p.s. Thanks for the box of goods!!!! I have to tell you what Derek said... "(while sniffing one of the pink crocs) WOW Kali has clean feet!" hahaha I couldn't believe he sniffed her shoe! hahaha Anyways, just wanted to share! :> See you at Iglesia Manana....
