Corissa came to visit me for a couple days, she was out here on business at the Big Island and then hopped over here to Oahu to see ME! We spent our day at sunset beach, then we stopped at Ted's Bakery to get the ever so famous chocolate haupia pie, YUMMY, a crab and bacon sandwich and sadly they were out of their corn bread, maybe next time. Then we headed to Hale'iwa to check out the shops and she had to get some bags at Matsumoto's shave ice, for her girl friends who told her she had to go there and get shave ice but I talked her out of getting the shave ice there and had her try Angel's instead, because EVERY BODY KNOWS that Angel's really has the BEST shave ice on the island and if you live here and have never tried it SHAME ON YOU, repent and go get some at Angel's. If you would like a more detailed explanation of this truth feel free to call me, or just go try it and there will be no explanation needed!!:) Then we got home and Corissa and I went to the PCC to see the night show. Then on Friday we went to Waikiki to check out the strip and Corissa got some souvenirs at the International Market Place, then we took her to the airport and she was on her way, it was a short trip but it was nice of her to come and visit and I LOVED IT! Thanks Corissa! By the way for those of you who don't know who Corissa is, she is a good friend I grew up with in Washington.

I am soooo happy to see that Kali is wearing that swimsuit! It looks like you found a way to fix it...BIG HUGE SIGH of RELIEF...:) I miss shave ice, all we can get here on the mainland is SNO Cones!!!! ha ha
I'm sooo jealous right now!! I'm glad you guys had a good time though. Can't wait until we can all get together again!
um no. matsumotos. why...it's half the price! It's a rip off to pay $5! let's be honest all places have the exact same flavors and the exact same ice from the same place!
OK it looks like I must now expand on why Angel's is the best. First of all by the time you drive to Hale'iwa your shave ice now cost you $15.00, even if you didn't have to drive they only give you half the shave ice that angels gives you and apparently some one from Matsumotos went and got shave ice from Angels because when I went there the other day they finally got smart and started putting their shave ice in the same cups that Angels does instead of those dumb snow cone bottom things that drip while you are eating it and they now I think upgraded to spoons in stead of the dumb wooden sticks that really you couldn't eat with anyway you don't get as much ice cream or shave ice at Matsumotos that is why they don't charge as much and as far as island snow I will have to check it out, since I will be there next week I am going, thanks Noelle:) I will call for directions..
What a fun visit for you and Corissa! I can't wait to see everyone at the reunion in August! :)
you are too funny. ok i want to go to island snow also because lately that is all i crave is shaved ice. ok ok i give in...ill just take whatever i can get...i'm a fatty. but good argument shanae.
