Playing CATCH UP!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!
HAPPY THIRD ANNIVERSARY TO AARON AND I !!!!!
This month two very special occasions have come and gone which I have not yet got to blog about so I am catching up. First of all my mothers birthday, my mom was in California for Nate's graduation on her birthday and Nate and his friends for her birthday surprised her and took her to see WICKED! She said is was just amazing, and since Nate has the hook ups they were sitting center, three rows back VIP! Doesn't get much better than that! Now a little something about my mother, she is the most amazing women, I notice a lot of different things that I do that I learned from her example which I am forever grateful for. Here are some examples, she taught me that your husband always comes first and he always gets the biggest and the best. So when you cook dad gets the best piece of meat and the biggest portions of everything. She taught me to sacrifice for your children, her whole life has been devoted to us kids, she may not have liked to do everything that we wanted to do, but she did it anyway to make us happy. She has taught me that families always come first NO MATTER WHAT, that the gospel is our foundation and it will always lead us in the direction we should go, she has taught me by example to trust in the Lord in all things have faith. My mom is the biggest spiritual giant in her little framed 5'6" body. It was funny because my friend called me today and asked me to pray for her husband and she said, "your spiritual, so it will probably be more effective if you are praying for him," and I said, "I guess I should call my mom than and have her pray, because I don't know anyone more spiritual than her"!!!! It is true though and I am so grateful for her example in my life. My mom is so unselfish, I have to wonder if she ever thinks about her self, I know she is constantly thinking about her children, husband and people in her ward. You are an amazing women and I am so glad to be able to call you my mother!!!!

Aaron and I have been married three years now. I love that man more and more each day. I am so glad he is the man I chose to marry, no one could make me happier. He knows just what to do to brighten my day. I never imaged how great married life is, nothing is better to me than being able to share your whole self with some one, knowing each others flaws and still loving them, loving that person for their good and their bad. I love you Aaron and I can not wait to see what the future holds for us and to get to be with you through it all and for eternity:)

I always have a blast reading your blogs!! It's such a highlight in my day. Of course, I'm prejudiced, since I think my grandkids are the greatest ever, but they are great only because they have such wonderful parents!
You are toooo kind! Your words humble me & make me feel that maybe somewhere along the line, I did something right. You make me want to live up to all that you said. My day has definitely been brightened! I can't wait to have you fly to WA and PARTY in AUG.!! I LOVE YOU! BIG HUGS & KISSES!

P.S. I'm barely 5'6", but I always wished I was taller. I'm getting my wish through three tall daughters and a granddaughter who is already tall for her age!

Did you guys get a chance to go out?!??! if not, we would be more than happy to take your kids off your hands for a while so you can have a little break.
