It was entertaining trying to explain to the girls what St. Patrick's Day was and why you have to wear green and why you get pinched if you didn't or punched if you ask Lili :) explanation here.
During breakfast St. Patrick's morning, Kali asked, "Where are we going to St. Patrick's Day?" I told her we didn't go anywhere for it we just celebrated by wearing green. She didn't like my response and asked again where we were going. I told her I didn't know where to go, and told her we could go somewhere if she knew where it was. Distraught and almost in tears she said, "but, I don't know where it is." It was so cute and sad at the same time. She wanted to go somewhere for a St. Patrick's day celebration. Well, this little girl is lucky to have such cool neighbors because when all the girls were napping a little Leprechaun (Melissa) left a trail of shamrocks for the kids to follow to a pot of gold. It definitely made Kali's day. Melissa started out by reading them a note the Leprechaun left explaining what they needed to do. The kids were so excited :) Krew wanted some candy, he would put his hand out asking for some, but mommy was mean and said he couldn't:(
