A football player and his coach, a pumpkin princess and the great big pumpkin headed out on Halloween eve to trunk-or-treat.
After we filled their pumpkins yet again, we headed home for some dinner and then went out again with Grandmpa to trick-or-treat to the neighbors.
Krew got freaked out pretty easy with all the scary decorations.
At the trunk-or-treat some one had their candy in a bowl with the hand that comes
down on your hand when you reach in it.
KREW FREAKED OUT! and had to tell everyone about it.
At one of the neighbors homes they had a spook alley and
both Kali and Krew screamed loud.
After that house, Krew was nervous to go to any other house, he would
look around nervously and kept saying," this is scary."
2 1/2 pumpkins full later these kids have received WAY TO MUCH candy.
When we got home the kids wanted to try on Grandma's costume.
These are decorations in front of Grandma's house.
Krew walked out and looked at them.
He said the skeleton is mad and the witch is sad.
I asked him, "why is the witch sad"?
He told me the witch was sad, because the skeleton was mad at her:)
Earlier that day the kids helped Grandma make cupcakes and cookies.
After that we carved our pumpkins.
Krew was excited about using the cutting tools...
but as soon as we opened it up he was done.
This is GROSS!
So I cleaned it out for him.
I was pretty proud of myself, I got this puppy clean.
Insides in one bowl, seeds in the pan to bake.
Kali did a great job cleaning our her pumpkin and making dots to start the carving process.
Grandma carving her bat.
Grandma's bat, Krew's smiley face, and Kali's ghost.
Krew didn't want something scary.
On Sunday, Kali and I made these little pumpkin treats for our classes,
Kali's Sunbeam class and my Laurel girls.
For our Sunday dinner Grandma and I made this spooky dinner.
On the menu:
Witches blood, witches hair, giant spider eggs, witches fingers, eyeball salad, mummies,
goblins mouth, bat poop, and blood and guts.
