YOU ARE...

~YOU ARE~

You are ever-increasing my capacity to love, to appreciate and enjoy.
You are hot, you are cold, and you are nothing in between.
You are certain and direct, you are face value.
You are breath taking and a giver of life.
You are a builder, a leader and spinner of hope.
You are significant, but immeasurable.
You are reason to shout. You are reason to change.
You are consistent. You are inspiration.
I am because you are.

Nae Nae,
I navigated my way through blog country while you were hibernating, thinking this would be a heartfelt surprise when you stir from the den. Thank you for fighting the good fight and refining me of my natural man. My love for you is teaching me why we know very little of our mother in heaven.

Castles /Augie T - Girls Night

We started off our Saturday by meeting up with the Jorgensens, Duffins, Larsons and Nelsons at Castle Beach. Krew went underwater for his second time and again he didn't freak out, it was just a little coughing since he did intake a little water this time, it may have had something to do with the fact he went through a wave this time since it was too big for me to jump over:) Oops! He did an awesome job. I however, lost my Versace sunglasses in the wave, I didn't even notice till after getting out of the water and looking to put them on, they were no where to be found. In the ocean, some mermaid can enjoy them:) The ironic thing about loosing them is just the other day I was talking to Sara Duffin about whether or not it was worth buying a nice pair of sunglasses, I told her I never use to but since I got a good deal on these ones I decided too, and I said, "besides, I have had them for a year and I just never seem to lose them" HA! She even said, "you better knock on wood," which I replied, "no need, I am not really superstitious." Go ahead and say it Sara...

That night was Girls Night!!! I always look forward to these nights, so fun just hanging out with the girls. Turtle Bay had sent me an email about this local comedian Augie T. I read up on him and it said he was clean, so I thought this would make for a fun girls night. I started asking people about him and seeing who would be able to come and sadly many girls had prior engagements or they just heard what I started to hear from the husbands, he really isn't very funny. I guess he has a show and is on the radio in the mornings. I was like Oh well, I will have low expectations and even if I laugh a little it is good to have humor in our lives, right? So Noel and Stefani were good sports and came with me, all of us realizing, worse case scenario we could always go and just get some chocolate soufflé and 21 degrees north. Much to our surprise we laughed from the moment he stepped on stage till he got off, he was so entertaining and he was CLEAN!! So nice, it was a wonderful evening and we topped it off with our soufflés. Thanks girls for a great night.

P90X with Tony Horton

Angie told me that yesterday Brylie decided she wanted to work out to Tony Horton and so she did all by herself, then when she came over to our house last night she decided one work out wasn't enough for the day so she got Kali to work out with her too! These girls were so entertaining to watch. Kali was just having fun and doing it because Brylie was, but Brylie is a little more serious about her work outs she really watches the DVD and does exactly what they do:) ENJOY the video!

I was debating whether to add this video or not, but I could not resist, it is too funny, this is after the work out Kali and Brylie being, Kali and Brylie:)

a day at the mall with daddy

Aaron decided one day that he was going to take Kali to the mall so she could play on the play area, so he could have some daddy, daughter time and so that I could have some me time and work out time. It was so nice of him to do this for me, I appreciated it so much. So off they went, and when they returned Kali was wearing this beautiful white dress and some cute new panties. Yep, you guessed it, she had had an accident while playing in the play area. Aaron said luckily it didn't get on anything but he had to run her to the bathroom and then find some new clothes for her. I think he did an awesome job, she looks like an angel:) I am sorry that he had to deal with that at the mall, I know that can be stressful, but he handled it perfectly and now she has a pretty new dress!

7-11 free slurpee day!!

Thanks to Rob Potts who informed us of this fabulous free slurpee day at 7-11, since today's date is 7-11 they hand out free slurpees. Yay for free slurpees!!!! Kali and Brylie are sure enjoying them:)

OH, what a beautiful morning...

Oh, what a beautiful day:) Why am I so happy you might ask? I FOUND MY CAMERA!!! I freaked out Aaron, Mike, Kali and Brylie as I started screaming for joy as I look at Kali who decided to pull from one of her MANY purses, (insert heavenly music) MY CAMERA! It was such a crazy feeling, I honestly was feeling some what depressed these last few days and so confused, I could not figure out what I had done with it and I was sure I was losing my mind. I am now so happy because I can snap away again and you can continue to enjoy my picture blog:) So this afternoon, Kali, Byrlie, Krew, Tyken and (introduction, one of our newest neighbors) Axel (he turns 2 in October) all played in the pool and sprinkler. Poor little Axel didn't know what to think of the rambunctious little girls:)

I forgot to mention yesterday when we went to the beach Krew got dunked in the ocean for the first time and he was a champ! He didn't even swallow water or cough or anything, he just came up and looked at me like, is that all you got mom? I was totally prepping Crystal before I did it warning her he will probably freak out, that is what Kali did the first time we dunked her. Good job Krew, you passed your ocean initiation with flying colors:)

I scream, You scream, We all scream for...

Yogurt? I went to Costco on Tuesday morning and bought the box of yogurt which I am pretty sure contain 24 cups. I haven't bought yogurt in awhile which I guess would explain Kali's consumption. Today is Thursday night, I opened the fridge only to find 2 yogurts remaining, I have only eaten two, Aaron probably hasn't eaten more than two or three, I know Krew hasn't eaten any, which means Kali has consumed roughly 18 cups of yogurt in a two day period. Is this a cause for concern?
