Shakers
Every time we would go the grocery store Kali would see this Thomas the Train magazine that she was sure she would die with out. So finally one day I gave in and let her get it. It turned out to be a pretty educational little magazine. Good choice Kali! One of the projects came from a story in the magazine about barrels Thomas was going to transport filled with rice, rocks and water. As cranky (the crane) was loading these barrels onto Thomas it talked about the sounds they heard. So we make these shakers so Kali would also know the sounds that Thomas heard:)
