March Madness

Are you ready for this.
March "family" birthdays.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO...

Aunt Jennifer
March 6th

Mom Jones
March 7th
Tami could be my sister. Don't you think. It is hard for me to think of her as my mother-in-law because she is more like a sister to me. We have the same taste in clothing and if you ask Aaron we act A LOT alike. I love you tons, and I hope you had a wonderful day relaxing and recovering from Disneyland:)

Aunt Sandy
March 9th

Krew
March 20th
Krew is almost 1!

Dad Jones
March 24th

March is the birthday month for the Jones family. Aaron also had a grandma "mommier" whose birthday was on March 22nd.

Glow Putt

I am feeding Krew when Kali wakes up and wants to take a bath. I put her in the tub start the water and continue to feed Krew. I notice the bath has been running for a little while but Kali is usually good about turning off the water when it gets to high and sometimes she forgets to put in the plug so the water level really never gets to high. So the water is running and I am thinking to myself, Kali must not have plugged it up because she hasn't turned off the water, but it sounds weird, I look on the floor and the floor doesn't appear to be wet. I finish feeding Krew and walk toward the bathroom and next thing you know, squish, squish, squish, I am walking in water and Kali is having a good ol' time in her man made pool.

Me: Kali, why didn't you turn off the water?
Kali: Sorry mom, it was an accident.
Me: burst out in laughter.

It was just one of those mornings where I just wasn't in the mood to be angry.
Krew comes in behind me to see what all the commotion is about and he decides to jump into the pool (tub) pajamas and all. More laughter. I don't know why, the whole thing was just so funny to me. So I strip Krew down but before I take off his diaper I check to make sure it only has shi shi and it appeared that way, so I took it off and one little piece of poop ploped in the tub. Now I have to hurry and pull both kids out, drain the tub, and clean it. I told the kids bath time was over, they got a quick shower, soap and rinse. No complaint. That was good.

It was a rainy day today, so I decided it would be fun to go to the mall and let Kali play glow in the dark miniature golf since we saw it last time and she really wanted too. It was really fun. Krew enjoyed crawling around and Kali enjoyed hitting the ball and then picking it up and setting it right next to the hole so she could hit it in. She made it in all 18 holes. Good Job Kali!!

Then we spent some time and the play area. Always a good time. Krew made some friends. There were these little boys who just couldn't leave him alone, they loved him :)

We did some shopping, and Kali wanted to try on all her clothes in the dressing room to make sure they were going to fit. She was so cute!

Lets go fly a kite

It has been pretty windy around here lately. The perfect weather for kite flying. Ka'ala brought out Kilika's kite and while waiting for Chris she decided to entertain the kids between the buildings, only to end up with a kite in the tree :) After a couple of my failed attempts to hang from a branch and free the kite Chris showed up and untangled it and took us to safer grounds, the open field where the kids enjoyed watching the kite and watching Chris run after the kite when they let go of the handle:) Krew and Kilika were entertained by Jocelyn and wanted to push her in the stroller. Little Nate joined us with his kite and he and Kilika tired to fly it, so cute.
Thanks Chris, Ka'ala and Kilika for sharing your kite with us.

Seussical

Kali and I got to go see this Seussical Musical performance on campus. It was very entertaining and Kali was obssessed with Jo Jo. If he wasn't on stage all Kali would say was, "where is Jo Jo?" They had several of Dr. Suess's books pulled together into an hour and a half of pure entertainment. Thanks Aaron for staying home with Krew so Kali and I could have a date together :)

he is there...

...he is listening.I have done this A LOT this past week. Done what? you ask. Looked up toward heaven. For help, for peace, for comfort. I have had little to no sleep this past week because Krew recovering from a bad cough got use to waking up in the middle of the night and staying up almost all night, leaving me with a broken fours house of sleep. I have prayed for patience with my kids and husband, I have prayed for help to make it through the day. My house had definitely been neglected looking like the biggest bomb ever. When one of my prayers were answered by my amazing neighbor Melissa who took my kids for a couple hours the other night and it made a world of difference. Now I have a clean home and can feel more peace and some scence of accomplishment. And of course I have to teach this Sunday, because it always seems to happen when I am struggling the most because that is when Satan can step in and make me think,
I should find some one else to teach you are so tired and can't even think straight or you just need to ask the bishop to release you from this calling, it is too much. These are thoughts that go through my head every three weeks when it is my turn to teach, and with out fail I teach every time and after my lesson I am so grateful I did it and that I have this calling. My testimony has grown and been strengthened every time I teach. And of course the purpose of this wordy blog is because of my lesson.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is God's church. Our Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to return to him and so he has taught us all that we need to know, he has given us the keys to return to him. Many have a hard time understanding how such a young man, Joseph Smith, could have restored God's church to the earth and why so many people have willingly given their lives for the church. It is because they understand it is God's church and that it contains all the TRUTH. Truth of the pre-existance, of our life here on earth and what will happen after we die. I know that Thomas S. Monson is called of God and that what he says is as if our Heavenly Father was speaking to us directly. I know my Heavenly Father loves me and is mindful of me and my trials. I am so grateful for the church in my life and the knowledge I have of how to better my self and make it through my trials. Just turn to the Lord. Look up toward heaven.

Kali's Photo Shoot

Kali's older sister Kayla took pictures in this dress when she was 3, so Kali's grandma Tami sent it to me and asked me to take pictures of Kali. I did and here are the results. As you can see I have a hard time picking only a few. There are 16 pictures not counting the top one :) Let me know which number is your favorite:) I couldn't figure out how to number each one so sorry you will just have to count:)
