Whale watching

These first 5 pictures are from Hillary Haar Williams, they are awesome!

We sailed on the Makani catamaran in Waikiki
Kali and Kaiya were so excited!

since we didn't see a whole lot in the water, they started looking into the boat windows, saying they saw, mermaids, dolphins, whales, etc.  Someone overheard them and said, "you must have let them drink one too many mai tai's."

Didn't those whale pictures look AMAZING!!!!  What?  You didn't see any whales in these pictures?  That is because it is the last two weeks of whale watching season and it is a hit and miss, sadly we missed :(  That is OK we had a nice enjoyable time soaking up the sun and being on a boat out in the water.  It was beautiful.

busy day

We started off the day with the playground and lunch.  Kali wanted to show grandma her new Hello Kitty lunch bag that she was SO excited to use :)  The picture with Krew and Nate, we told them to race down the slide.  Who do you think won?

After the play ground we were off to swimming lessons.  It was at gunstock aquatics and they were just having their WSI trainee's practice on some real children before they get certified.  They have a dome over the pool, that is why the one picture looks weird.  Then we were off to Kahuku Library, where they had a children's theatre come and perform Musubi Man.  It was pretty entertaining.  Kali found a big Winnie the Pooh stuffed animal in the children's section at the library and didn't want to put it down.  Kaiya decided to hide herself in all of the stuffed animals and pillows.  After the performance the girls got a picture with the Musubi Man and one of the actresses.    When I walked outside on the library wall I noticed one of the ceramics had my name on it, CRAZY!  Someone in the year 2000 graduated from Kahuku and her name was Shanae.  Then I took Kali to get some ice cream since she was such an awesome girl all day.  In the middle of eating her ice cream she passed out.  It was like 5:00 pm.  Too much excitement for one day :)

Windward Mall - this THURSDAY

This Thursday April 9th we will be at the Windward Mall enjoying the bounce house, the playground and the Easter crafts on center stage :)
ANYONE WHO WANTS TO COME IS INVITED :)
I will be leaving around 1:00 pm depending on how the keiki's naps go :)  We will probably start out at the bounce house and go from there.  It is only $7.00 for an all day pass.  The Easter events start at 4:00 pm on center stage and the Easter bunny is also there for the keiki to see, talk to, or take pictures with.  Check out the Windward Mall's April calendar of events HERE.

I love how the Winward Mall totally caters toward kids.  They have the little playground, glow putt, the bounce house, Borders kids book section :) and random activities through out the month for kids too do. Oh, and I must not forget several .75 cent rides for the kids to enjoy.

Last week while we were their Kali really wanted to go to the bounce house, it was toward the end of our day at the mall and realizing she would only jump for about 15-20 min. by herself, I decided to promise her a fun day this next week with friends, so it could be well worth the $7.00 :)
Kali loves jumping off the playground toys.
Kiddo's enjoying the rides :)

HAS ANYONE SEEN ONE OF THESE BEFORE?
This was in the Macy's bathroom.  A little keiki chair.  GENIUS!
This should be a requirement in all women's bathrooms.
Krew LOVES to climb

LOL!!  I couldn't stop laughing, this little boy probably had a crush on Kali, he wouldn't leave her alone and he kept chasing her all over the playground.

Does anyone recognize who we ran into at the playground ?
I am sorry it is a bad photo.  But, I bet Liko could guess:)
Faith and Malik.  Faith was so cute with Krew, as soon as she saw him she ran up to him and started playing with him.

North Shore bike trail

I love to walk along the North Shore bike trail it is so beautiful, calm, peaceful.
Kali and Lili road their bikes while Nate and Krew strolled.
We ended up finding beach access along the trail and the kids enjoyed playing on the sand and watching the surfers.

the boys enjoyed exploring

They were too afraid to get into the water, it was a little ruff, besides look at the signs.
Jocelyn and Hillary met up with us
Krew teaching Jocelyn how to eat the sand

back on the bike trail
we hit up Ted's Bakery on the way home, DELICIOUS!
