cleats

Guess who gets to wear these bad boys starting June 1st.

The one and only Kali Jones!
We are so excited for her to start t-ball.
She is super fast and has a killer hit.
Aaron was so excited to take her to the store and pick out her very first cleats.
LOVE THEM.

crazy weather

Since we have moved to Logan, we have had the craziest weather.
The last snowfall we have seen was the end of April,
since then it has been either a sunny 75 - 80 degrees
or raining.  It changes daily.

Grandma and Grandpa Wood

The grandparents came into town and took us out to
Texas Roadhouse for Aaron's Birthday/Graduation Dinner.
While grandma was here she played the piano and sang with the kids, read them books,
and Aaron opened his gifts.
Then we had to show them Kali and Krew's killer hitting abilities.
They really are fun to watch.
I will have to record them.
We went to the temple and took some fun pictures.
Grandpa decided to wet down his wild hair for the pictures,
as you can see Krew was not as thrilled with the idea.
I just LOVE the Logan temple.
BEAUTIFUL!
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the fun little visit!

ice skating

This was Kali's very first time on the ice EVER.
She did an amazing job.
It did not help that she had older girls skating by her, doing tricks,
she wanted to do what they were doing.
She was already doing spins her first day.
The instructor told me that Kali has a natural talent.
She said I have been teaching for several years and I can spot raw talent and your daughter has it.
That was fun to hear;)
After listening to Krew complain the whole time about wanting
to go out on the ice I decided to join the
Hot Chocolate Club;)
It is every Monday and Wednesday.
You pay $6.00 for one adult and you can have two children
come with you for free for 1 1/2 hours.
It has been so much fun.
It gives Krew a chance to get use to the ice and gives
Kali and chance to play around with other kids while getting more comfortable on the ice.
And afterwards you get free hot chocolate!
GOOD TIMES:)

jems

When we first bought these the kids wanted to brush their teeth all the time.
Krew hardly put his down.
Now a month later,
brushing is still easier than before.
Now Krew lets me hold him down and brush his teeth with out screaming the entire time;)
Kali now only complains once a day about brushing twice a day;)

ambidextrous

Krew is ambidextrous.  Some mornings he eats with his right hand and other mornings his left.
He can bat right and left handed, he is a "switch hitter"
He also writes with both hands.
interesting. very interesting.
Krew always forgets what this juice is called.
Today he asked me, "Mom, is this juiced called punching bag."

dolphins

My mom has these pictures up in her bathroom
and when ever Krew would go in there he would say,
"Mom Kali's dolphin is happy and your dolphin is sad."
