Waikiki Aquarium

I have wanted to check out the Aquarium for a while now, so finally on Monday morning I woke up and decided I needed to get the kids out of Laie. So off we went to Waikiki. Melissa and Kaiya joined us. The girls had so much fun. We were a little worried they would be cranky because of my last minute decision it was right during their nap time, but they were amazingly happy and just enjoyed all of the different fish and creatures of the sea. The highlights were the jelly fish, the BIG fish tank, the sea urchin and hermit crab which they got to touch (even Krew got to touch them, with Kali's help, what a good big sister :)) and last but not least the monk seal. They had two of them in the tank. When we first walked up to the glass part, I was really close to the glass looking for the seal. We couldn't see anything. All of a sudden the little bugger snuck up on me which startled me, OK it scared me to death, I jumped and screamed and the girls laughed, I am pretty sure Melissa laughed the hardest, but because I did that they were so hesitant to walk up to the glass and look at it. When we walked up above you could look down into the tank and watch them. The girls LOVED that and didn't want to leave. I realized at that moment these girls would love the Sea Life Park. So, next excursion, Sea Life Park:) As you can see the kids did eventually take there naps around 2:30 they had passed out, so Melissa and I enjoyed a stroll down Waikiki. When they woke up we took them in the ocean and let them float around in their innertubes and played shark. Shark is a game where Melissa and I act like a shark and chase the girls around, while they scream with laughter. They love it:)

water balloon FUN!

We have been trying to think of more educational and hands on activities for the kids to do. Some days are flash cards, others are play-doh, putting together beaded necklaces, making cookies, painting, etc. But nothing is more hands on and educational than water balloons, am I right?:) These girls had so much fun attempting to throw and hit their targets. Right after we told them to just aim for the feet, Kali throws a balloon right at Lili's head. As you can see she has her mothers aim and Lili lives to see another day:) Brylie on the other hand has amazing aim, check out her throw. Nice form:)

TVA Family day

Last Saturday was a fun day for the kids to run around, make their own visors, get balloon animals, play on the water slides, bounce houses, play with play doh, dance on the stage and get their face painted. Aaron decided Kali needed Hawaiian tribal, so he jumped into the artist chair and painted away on Kali:) We had some fun entertainment with little Tahitian girls swinging their hips, and then the boys doing a Hawaiian native dance. I also competed in a stroller raise and took second. Not terrible, considering I was the only girl:) Kali was making Krew bust up as always:) Notice the cute Nike shoes that Auntie Cori bought for Krew. Thanks Cori, he loves them:) I took some shots of Lili, her brother Nate and then Mana, our neighbor boy across the way. He is one month older than Krew, but twice Krew's size:)

A few more...

I know you all enjoy me posting pictures of MYSELF. I just thought Natalie did a good job and I am excited to learn some of her mad SKILLS. Thanks again, Natalie!

SISTERS

I know, I should entitle this best friends, right? That would just not describe these four girls relationship. Kaiya lives to the left of us, Lili to the right, and Brylie right below us, in a T shape:) These girls spend almost EVERY waking minute together, and when they are not together, they talk about how they want to be together. They are just too cute and too funny when they are together. They have the most priceless conversations. They act WAY too old for their age. We seriously feel like we are already raising teenagers and they are only two and three years old. Kali loves to say good night to all of her girls. Hugs and kisses:) They are really into baby dolls, stuffing their purses until they are overflowing, camera's, cell phones (fake ones, of course), sun glasses, and wearing each others clothes, (oh, wait, that is just Kali:) They like to all have the same thing. If we go anywhere we know to make sure they each have the same snack, accessories, etc. Kali is so lucky to have such wonderful friends that she can call her sisters:)

Stroll along the beach

Melissa and I took the kids and strolled along the North Shore bike path. It is very beautiful and would be an extremely peaceful walk or job or bike to do with out the wee ones:) I have always wanted to go job along there and check it out. Thanks Melissa for going with me. The best part about it, is if you get too hot, there are beautiful beaches all along the way!!!
