Kayla came to visit...

along with Grandma Tami and Opa John. It was the first time for all of them to visit us in Washington! WE LOVED IT!!! Kali was in HEAVEN the whole time, she loves spending time with her big sister.

The attempt to get a nice family picture:)
Thanks Grandma Tami and Opa John for snapping away.
everyone look everyone smile.
I know I look horrible in this pick, but notice the death grip I have on Krew's hand:)
that is an indication of how it went:)
After that was all over we were able to enjoy our time together:)
Our daily walk around the lake.
The kids spent most of their time hunting and catching frogs...
and putting them in jars.
a little canoeing, jet skiing
and of course a campfire with hotdogs and smores.
Before Kayla had to leave she taught Kali how to jump off the play house
and spun them around
and sadly said our goodbye's, till next time, which will hopefully be VERY SOON!!!
It was so much fun to have us all together.
Kayla is an amazing older sister and both Kali and Krew just adore her!
We LOVE YOU KAYLA!
Thank you Grandma Tami and Opa John for coming to visit, WE LOVE YOU!

reunited.

Kali said she was nervous to see Kaiya again.
It had been 8 months since they had seen each other last.
You would have never guessed that was the case when we opened the door and saw
some of our best friends (hawaiian family) standing there. Kali and Kaiya hugged and held hands as they ran off
and started playing just like old times.
Yes we did plan the hello kitty outfits for the girls.
Kali insisted I buy this shirt for her and I was hesitant
trying to get her to choose something else,
I wasn't sure why she HAD TO have it until I was going through some pics of our
last trip to Utah and low and behold Jo Jo had the EXACT same shirt,
so Kali had to get it, hence the planned pictures of hello kitty outfits:)

a fun filled afternoon of laughter, and catching up.
We got to meet baby Noah (SO CUTE)
and Warren even joined in on some pool fun.
Before we headed back to WA we met up again with the Williams and Crosby's at a park.
Kaiya brought her CUTEST little dog Bella.
Kali just told me she wants to get a cat and maybe her cat
and Kaiya's dog would be best friends.
We decided if Jo Jo and Krew were to one day get married
they would have the best
wedding slide show,
it would be filled with pictures of them together from birth through marriage.
I will have to post the collection someday:)

IT WAS SO GOOD GETTING TOGETHER WITH THESE GIRLS!!!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!!!
and yes I am slightly jealous they only live 7 miles away from each other.

rodeo

Kali and Krew got to experience their first rodeo today.
They thought it was so cool to see all the cows, sheep, chicken, and horses.
and they enjoyed all the sweets too.
Hillary and Jo Jo met up with us to enjoy the fun.
Kali participated in the chicken run
and jump :)
Kali did AWESOME and ended up catching one of the chickens,
with the help of another little girl.
GOOD TEAM WORK GIRLS!
Their metals.
Uncle Seth's turn to catch a milk a wild cow.
Grandma participating in the watermelon seed spitting contest!

photo shoots galore

Thanks to my girlfriend Joy I have been taking TONS of pics of Kali in so many different costumes and hats, etc. She is revamping her etsy shop and has asked several different photographers to take pics of her products. I will let you know when the website it up.
It the meantime you can enjoy some fun pics I was able to get of the kids together. Krew decided he wanted to take pictures today, which is rare.

swimming at the rents

I had a fun time playing with a wide angle lens a little while back and got a shot of my parents house from the back. We have been spoiled while living here part time:)
A lot of nice days hanging out and playing in the pool.
It has been so nice having my mom help cook and clean and do our laundry,
I always tell her she doesn't need to do that, but she does it anyway.
THANKS MOM!!
Krew has been quite the little fish lately. He loves to have me hold him while he kicks his legs and move his arms through the water. He has been watching his sister and wants to try to do what she does, but knows he is not quite at her level.
The kids LOVE playing with their Grandpa.
The minute he steps in the house Krew runs up to him and wants him to chase him around the house.
During scripture study and prayer Krew tries to climb on his back and have a horsey ride and in the pool Krew want him to catch him and let him hold onto his back while he swims around.
Krew still calls Grandpa the endearing term we know as "booger" however, he is starting
to say Grandpa more. I am sad to think pretty soon that phase of life will pass:(
Lindsey (aka Kayla). Krew always calls her Kayla, she is the same age as Kayla. It is cute though and Lindsey is a good sport and lets him call her that :)
She is the youngest in her family, so she has kind of adopted my kids as her little brother and sister. At church she always will come get them after sacrament meeting and take them to class
and after class she picks them up and finds me.
