Something I failed to remember to post about was Krew's crush.  

It really is so cute the way he gets all shy around her :)

Does eveyone know that Erika has a boyfriend? well I guess the secret is out.

He's only got eyes for her! and I love the way his face lights up when he sees her! He comes from an AWESOME family, he's got Blonde hair, blue eyes, amazing upperbody strength, and is VERY TALL (for his age)

he also loves peek-a-boo, climbing, giving people mini heart-attacks by hanging off the apparatus at the park, loves animals, knows what they all say, and Loves to flirt with Erika! (actually)

( I have to add:  Can you blame him, she is a cutie :)

Krew gets so excited when ever he sees her.

Than he smothers her with hugs and kisses.

We are planning for an arranged marriage, but for now we just want them to be best friends :)

Something Angie posted about Kali was how she is a bundle of energy.

It is not uncommon for Kali to go out side after a nap and run laps on the side walk between D and E buildings.

She does not like to get messy or dirty.

Thanks Ang. for these little reminders of things my kids do and for the fabulous pictures.

Waimea Falls Hike

This hike is a walk through beautiful botanical gardens.

Nice relaxing paved walk to a waterfall.

We stopped and learned what some of the plants were called.

We saw some roaming peacocks.

As far as the food is concerned.

Yes on the Mango and passion fruit shave ice.

No to the cotton candy flavor.

Yes to the Taro Burger.

No to the acai bowl, drive 1/4 mile up the road and enjoy three times more from Kava Roots.

BTW, Kava Roots is the ONLY place I am aware of on the island that is worth getting an acai bowl from.  

And it is a must try!!!

rainy days

When your day starts out like this...

you know it is time to get out of the house:)

And since the weather has been so junk we decided to go to the mall.

We played on the playground, where we ran into Leslie Fitzgerald (a girlfriend who I use to hang out with 6 years ago who lives in Kaneohe) and her kids, read books at borders, checked out the new thinker toys store, ate at Taco Del Mar had dessert at Ben and Jerry's and bought Kali a new umbrella which she takes with her EVERYWHERE.

Kali does not leave her home these days without her baby, a purse filled with a play cell phone, hello kitty wallet, keys, lipgloss, ipod, and occasionally her camera.  She prefers wearing skirts her slippers and gets excited to wear a jacket if it is raining or she thinks it feels a little cold.  She is into accessories these days, bracelets, rings and asks me to put her hair in pigtails, braids or a pony tail, but sadly it doesn't last to long and she asks for me to take it out, EVEN if it looks ADORABLE!

My little Krewzer is into ANIMALS right now.  He loves looking at his animal books and making animal sounds.  We went to the Zoo last week and he loved it!!  The first animal he saw was an elephant and he ran right up to the gate so excited, but as soon as he saw it move he backed off a little unsure, it was pretty funny!!

He is a climber and loves to jump. When he wakes up and we go into the room he is jumping up and down in his crib, he decided that was more fun than climbing out.  Even when he is jumping on the ground he can get his feet off the ground every once in awhile.

He goes to nursery now and they say he is so happy and entertaining.  Every time they sing songs he gets up and dances.  That is my little Krew man.  Anytime he hears music he just has to move and dance around.

He is such a happy little guy, always laughing and reminding me how fun life can be :)

Kali and Krew love to sit on Aaron's lap or mine when ever we are doing anything on the computer.  When I walked into the kid's room the other day this is what I saw :)

eggs anyone?

It was time for both kids to go down for a nap.  Krew went down easily as always and Kali did not, as always :)  Her excuse today as she was laying there was, "mom, I need some broccoli and ranch."  How could I refuse, this little girl doesn't eat much as it is, and to ask for broccoli.  

OF COURSE YOU CAN :)  

As she was eating her broccoli I received a call from my sister in law Veronica.  I had to go to the computer to help her with a few things over the phone.  After we had finished our conversation I went to go check on Kali and this is what I found:

She had successfully cracked and was mixing one dozen eggs.  I couldn't get mad at her she was so proud of herself, she didn't even make a mess and after checking for shells I only found two small ones. 

 IMPRESSIVE :)

She also had some toast in the toaster, so when they were finished she buttered those while I cooked the eggs.  While we were cooking and spreading the butter Kali said, "mom, isn't this awesome?  We are working as a team."  :)  She is just so cute sometimes!!
