Halloween Party
For FHE on Monday we had a D and E building Halloween Party! This all came to be when Angie had a dream that Kim planned a Halloween party. When she told her of this dream Kim said, "that's wierd" I was thinking about putting one together:) And that is how it all started, and with me and Melissa at her side we put together this AWESOME halloween party:) The kids had a fun time decorating cupcakes, eating severed toes, monster eyeballs, bloody fingers, poison apples and drinking from the witches brew. They smashed the bat pinata, (I got the last hit:) Yay, for me!) they enjoyed eating donuts from a string and last but not least they enjoyed feeling the bat eyeballs, witches hair and vampire blood in the mad scientist lab. While in the lab the kids were freaked out when some big monster came out to scare them. Kali's face says it all. She was the most afraid the whole time. Finally toward the end, she decided it was OK to get a picture with the scary man:) As you can see in the picture with Krew and Aaron, Krew wasn't too affected by it. In case you were wondering, I am a vampire, my face it painted white, I am not really that pale:) and I am not wearing my fangs. I will remember for the Halloween night pictures:) Thanks Kim and Melissa for creating such a wonderful party for the kids!

Krew @ 7 months
Stats
Height 29 1/2 inches
Weight 18 lbs. 3 oz.
Krew is such a tough boy he didn't even cry when he got his shots, he just glared at the nurse:) Krew went quickly from scooting to now crawling. He loves to pull himself up on the couch and on chairs so he can be standing. He also pulled himself up right on top of the couch so he could look out the window and see the girls outside playing. I guess he is ready to see the world from a different perspective:) His favorite foods are poi, sweet potatoes, and sweet potato puffs. He continues to be my mellow little man, who loves to smile and laugh at everyone:)

Jack-O-Lantern

Kali has woken up the last few mornings and when she sees the pumpkin she says, "dad did a great job making the Jack-O-Lantern, huh." For FHE on Monday, Aaron carved this beauty. Kali wanted to carve one of her little ones, but we told her it was a little to small to carve anything into it and she could just help daddy with the big one. She wasn't too excited about the pumpkin guts. She tried a couple times to pull them out and them scoop them out, but both times she said, "this is gross!" She decided she was happier as a spectator:) Krew enjoyed crawling around and taste testing the pumpkin guts. Good job daddy, the spider looks AWESOME!
